Tennessee's only tribally owned museum, dedicated to Sequoyah, creator of the Cherokee Syllabary. The museum includes exhibits detailing the archaeological digs conducted prior to the flooding of the former sites of Cherokee towns along the Little Tennessee River, also featured are exhibits about the syllabary and the Trail of Tears. The gift shop includes books, jewelry, music, souvenirs and Cherokee arts.
